CHS band students excel in contest

These Custer High School band members all received top ratings for their respective playing at the Region 8 Band Contest in Rapid City recently. ded the Region 8 band contest in Rapid City Feb. 10 and received the following ratings in contest solo and ensemble work.
Superior Solos I: Bb clarinet solo, Ariel Cisneros; Bb clarinet solo, Allison Hosman.
Excellent Solos II: tenor sax, Frank Baumann; alto sax, Sean DeHaven; alto sax, Sarah Hill; Bb clarinet, Bridget Hanson; Bb clarinet, Tina Evans.

Several Custer band students attended the Region 8 band contest in Rapid City Feb. 10 and received the following ratings in contest solo and ensemble work.

Excellent Solos II: tenor sax, Frank Baumann; alto sax, Sean DeHaven; alto sax, Sarah Hill; Bb clarinet, Bridget Hanson; Bb clarinet, Tina Evans.
