Kerry Krueger

Kerry Owen Krueger was born June 9, 1959, in Hot Springs, S.D., to William and Vera (Wilson) Krueger. He was raised on a ranch on Pleasant Valley Road. He attended rural elementary school at Four Mile country school and later attended Custer High School in Custer, S.D.
Kerry worked with his brother, Mike, in construction and concrete. Later, Kerry was employed by other construction companies. He spent the majority of his life in the Black Hills of South Dakota. At the time of his death, Kerry was employed by Doernemann Construction Co. of Clarkson, S.D.
On Aug. 12, 2011, Kerry married Susan Nelson in Hot Springs, S.D.
Kerry died Sept. 30, 2012. He was 53.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Krueger.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Susan; four step-children, James, Roxanne, Cassidy and Cooper; daughter Ashley (Louis) Good Shield; grandchildren Louis and Emma, all of Custer; brother, Dave Krueger of Pagosa, Colo.; two sisters, Gail Merrill, of Buckeye, Ariz., and Pat (Finny) Sechser of Custer; sister-in-law, Laura Krueger of Custer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Oct. 5 at the Home for Funerals in Norfolk, Neb. with pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Burial followed at Alberry Cemetery, rural Norfolk.

My prayers go out to all of the family. Remember Kerry from going to school with him. He's in a better place watching over everyone. God Bless
