Leslie A. ‘Les’ Johnson was born Sept. 24, 1944, in West Grove, Pa., and lived in Custer, S.D. years ago. After traveling all over the country, he returned to Custer, where he worked as a handyman. He could fix anything mechanical and took great pride in his work as a painter.
Les also worked on computers and found great bargains on the internet.
Les died suddenly at his home in Custer County in November 2011. He was 67.
He was preceeded in death by his wife.
Les is survived by his son, Jonathan Johnson of Sacramento, Calif.; and sister, Shirley Koonce of Little Rock, Ark.
