U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) czar Janet Napolitano had egg all over her face last week after an embarrassing April 7 intelligence and analysis assessment from her department was leaked to the public. The “Unclassified/For Official Use Only” report assessed the current economic and political climate in the country and warned of “disgruntled military veterans”  being recruitment targets for “rightwing extremists” in order to “exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat.” Available only in the print version of the Custer County Chronicle.
