Owners representing about 30 downtown businesses got together Feb. 11 for what was billed as a Custer Chamber Retail Committee Roundtable. Topic of discussion was the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) #4 project for beautifying the community. From this meeting came a position paper on the TIF project plan which includes the area involved, schedule, financing and design phase.  Available only in the print version of the Custer County Chronicle.
