Inauguration extravaganza sends the wrong message

f we ever thought we could expect any kind of fiscal responsibility from the incoming Obama administration, that idea was dashed with the extravagant inauguration ceremony in Washington, D.C., Tuesday. It reminded us more of a coronation rather than an inauguration. The estimated cost of the extravaganza is $150 million with about $35 million raised by Barack Obama's inaugural committee.
