State is focus of Wildcats at region meet

Qualifying more bodies for this weekend’s state track and field meet was the name of the game for the Custer High School track team at last Friday’s Region 8A meet in Belle Fourche. The team reached that objective, as nine more individuals and relay teams either hit the state qualifying mark in their event or placed in the top two in the region, which means an automatic entry into the meet.
