Custer stands strong at windy BHC invite

With wind gusts reported as high as 51 mph, the Custer girls golf team suffered through the elements to finish in fourth place behind Lead/Deadwood, Belle Fourche and Hot Springs at the Black Hills Conference golf meet May 13 in Hot Springs.
“It was very difficult,” said coach Dale Schaffer. “The weather was not very conducive to being outside and playing golf.”
