The fifth annual “Festival of Trees” is back this holiday season at the 1881 Courthouse Museum.
Any business, service organization or community group that would like to sponsor a Christmas tree is asked to contact the museum at 673-2443.
The Christmas tree can be any height. It must be artificial with lights and decorations. The trees’ theme can represent a business or group, holiday or could be artistic.
The trees will be on display in the courtroom and other areas of the museum on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for Paul Horsted’s program, the Christmas Festival on Saturday, Dec 6, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and an open house on Sunday, Dec 7, from 5-7 p.m.
Set-up times for the trees are Wednesday, Dec. 3, and Thursday, Dec 4, from noon to 6 p.m. The trees can be removed on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information on the Festival of Trees, call Sandy at the museum at 673-2443.
