Living Nativity

Chronicle Staff
Published: Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

It was a cold night when the Crossroads Church of Custer put on a living nativity scene on Sunday evening, Dec. 21, with temperatures about 14 below zero. Cookies and cider were handed out to those who braved the cold weather and a donation was taken up for the Don and Jill Hart family, with about $400 raised. From left are Warren Graham (gold), Alex Heaton (red), Rita Heaton (blue and white), Kenny Smit (child, gold), Zack Nielsen (green), Hannah Watland (angel), Jeff Slykhuis (blue), Jeff Baird (red) and John Heaton (red).
