LaVerne E. Harrington died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at his home in Buffalo Gap, S.D. He was 75. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rhonda Christiansen; and brother, Clyde. Survivors include sons, Steve (Judy) Harrington of Newcastle, Wyo., Shawn (Heidi) Harrington of Verndale, Minn.; step-son, David Harrington of Butte, Mont.; step-daughters, Jeanette (Sergio) Orozco of Rapid City, S.D., Missy (Bob) Dickenson of Salisbury, Md.; brothers, Marv Harrington of Ronan, Mont., Donald Harrington of Hill City, S.D.; sister, Delores (Gill) Deines of Buffalo Gap; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
