Marylois Skochdopole of Kansas City, Mo., (formerly of Custer, S.D.) was born Jan 18, 1929, and died April 19, 2009. She was 80. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 58 years, Robert Skochdopole; and brother, James Gibbs. She is survived by her children, Sara (Will Holman of Fairfax, Va., John  (Ann) Skochdopole of Issaquah, Wash., Joe (Lynn) Skochdopole of Indianapolis, Ind., Steve (Lisa) Skochdopole of Redmond, Wash., Abbie McKnight of Prairie Village, Kan., 12 grandchildren; brother, John Gibbs of Burlingame, Calif.; sister, Felice Rose of Lincoln, Neb.; and uncle, Donald Gibbs of Topeka, Kan. Services were held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Kansas City. Inurnment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, also in Kansas City.
