Milan Gilbert Mattson of Custer, S.D., died Jan. 11, 2009, at his home in Custer. He was 54. Milan is survived by his wife, Pamela of Custer; parents, Clarence and Myrtle Mattson of Hill City, S.D.; three sons, Daniel Mattson of Gillette, Wyo., Shaun Mattson of Custer, and Cole Mattson of Custer; two brothers, Clarence Mattson of Spokane, Wash., and Terry Mattson of Gillette, Wyo.; three sisters, Roberta Burnham of Sand Point, Idaho, Evonne Cameron of Phoenix, Ariz., and Tina Briggs of Montana. A celebration of life memorial service was held at the Mattson home in Custer Jan. 18 with the Rev. Terry Mattson officiating and family and friends sharing. A potluck luncheon followed.
