Alice Doody

  Alice H. Doody was born Feb. 18, 1924, in Chicago, Ill, to Albert and Irene (Preusner) Leinen. She died Nov. Ill., 2008, at Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer, S.D., surrounded by her family and friends. She was 84. Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Thomas A. Doody,  Jr., in 1982; her parents;  sister, Katherine Krumpack; brother, Albert C Leinen; infant twin sister, Marion; and infant grandson, Elija Thomas Arseneault. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Charles) Arseneault of Custer;  Helen (Rod) Seastream of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Scott, Andrew, Shelley, Courtney and Lindsey; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew, Irene Prewitt, Joan Krumpack and Joe Krumpack. Mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 14 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Custer. Graveside services and interment were Nov. 17 at Ascension Cemetery and Mausoleums in Libertyville, Ill.
