Stanley Snider

Stanley Gardner Snider was born on June 22, 1939, in Maywood, Neb., to Charles Nelson and Daisie (Gardner) Snider. The family moved to Fort Lupton, Colo., in 1942, where Stanley attended school and made many friends. He served in the U.S. Army, taking his Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He also spent several years in LaSalle, Colo. Stanley married Charleen Marie Brault Nov. 6, 1976, in Norton, Kan. They spent the last few years living in Custer, S.D. Stanley died Jan. 25, 2010, at Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer. He was 70. Stanley is survived by his wife, Charleen of Custer; two brothers, Morris (Elsie) Snider of La Veta, Colo., and Jay (Mary) Snider of Larkspur, Colo.; sister, Ann (Bill) Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services were Feb. 1 at the Berean Bible Church in Custer with Pastor Gary Pokorney officiating. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
