Also, my memory is not as good as it used to be.
Several friends I recently visited with bemoaned the fact that we are becoming more forgetful and absent-minded as we age.
One said she has to make lists so she won’t forget what she is supposed to do or what she needs to buy at the grocery store.
“But be sure to tear up your grocery list up after you’ve used it,” she warned—obviously from experience—“because otherwise you’ll end up buying the same things all over again.”
Ah, the trials and tribulations of getting older.
