Celia A. Frybarger Eubanks was born April 20, 1926, in Oral, S.D., to John L. and Dorothy G. (Clapper) Frybarger. Celia spent man years of hard work from farm, cannery labor, waitressing and cooking at cafes in Custer, S.D., kitchen and domiciliary work at the VA in Hot Springs, S.D., from which she retired Jan. 10, 2000, and where she received several awards and commendations for 30 years of dedicated service. Celia died Jan. 12, 2010, at Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer. Celia was preceded in death by her parents, sister and two siblings in infancy. Survivors include two brothers, John R. (Darlene) Frybarger of Sparks, Nevada and David L. (Mary) Frybarger of Custer; sister, Bessie Delay of Parker, S.D.; and many nieces and nephews. She was buried at Hillside Cemetery in Oelrichs, S.D., Jan., 16 after a memorial service held at McColley’s Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
