Rose Orsborn

Rose Orsborn was born Oct. 18, 1934, in Rapid City, S.D., to Elize and Frances (Straw) Duncan. Her life was her children and her family. In 1949, Rose married Arnold Orsborn. They had a ranch up at the Limestone, Moon, S.D.
Rose, of Newcastle, Wyo., died Sept. 15, 2013, in Casper, Wyo. She was 78.
She is survived by her sons, Allen Orsborn, Terry Orsborn, Paul (Maryanne) Orsborn and daughters, Arlene (Merl) Harp, Pamela (Russ) Whetham, all of Newcastle; brother, Ed (Judy) Duncan of Billings, Mont.; niece, Renee Duncan (Steven) Sherwood; grandchildren, Tonya, James, William, Amy, Brent, Shauna, Danny, Wes, Melissa, Justin and Rohn; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 28 at McColley’s Chapels of the Hills in Custer, S.D., with Pastor Joel Ziolkowski officiating. Interment followed at the Custer cemetery.
