Katherine G. White

Katherine G. White, 88, Fairburn, S.D., died peacefully at Rapid City Regional Hospice House on Monday, March 1, 2010.
She is survived by one son, Leslie (AlMarie) White, Black Hawk; three daughters, DeElda (Ted) Williams, Fairburn, Delia (Dean) Johnson, Fairburn, Donna Degnan, Buffalo Gap, S.D.; special friends, Ruth and Vern Bradford; sisters, Dorothy Woessner, Betty Downen, Barbara Shindelbower; brother, Harley Kennedy; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a baby daughter, three siblings, one son-in-law, and one great-grandchild. 
A memorial has been established to the Rapid City Regional Hospice of the Hills, 224 Elk Street, Rapid City, SD 57701.
 Memorial services will be held at Fairburn United Methodist Church on Friday, March 5, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John McKnight officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow in the church basement. 
As per Katherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
