From school board seats to city council seats, from the county commission to the position of Custer County Sheriff, plenty of elected seats are up for grabs when election time rolls around this June. The primary election is slated for June 8, with the general election Nov. 2.
When the June 8 primary election rolls around, there will be three Custer City Council seats available, all two-year terms. In Ward One, recently-appointed Patty Ressler’s seat is up, as is Terry Reetz’s in Ward Two and Steve Pischke’s in Ward Three. Citizens may take out petitions now, until March 30 at 5 p.m. The fate of the city liquor store will also be decided at the June 8 election.
