Custer wrestlers region bound

All except two Custer wrestlers will head to Stanley County this weekend to compete in the Region 4B Tournament. That number could’ve been great if Custer wasn’t able to right its wrongs after a rough start at the District 7B Tournament in Philip this past Saturday, Feb. 13.

“We were flat-footed the first couple of matches. Most of them seemed not to be ready to wrestle,” said Custer wrestling coach Jared Webster. “After that, they came out and wrestled good.”

The key to the role reversal was the change in attitude, Webster said.
