The Custer County Chronicle welcomes Letters to the Editor. We ask that all letters submitted be limited to 250 words. Letters received that contain more words are subject to editing. Letters must be written in good taste and be void of slanderous statements. All letters must be signed. Views expressed in letters or guest column are not necessarily those of the owners, publishers or staff of the Chronicle. Deadline for publication on Wednesdays of all advertisements, letters to the editor and copy is 5 p.m. on Friday.

Political candidates policy reminder and notice: Each political candidate is given the opportunity to submit or have reported one announcement of the office for which they are running for free, compliments of the Custer County Chronicle. They are allowed letters to the editor submitted by other people at $6.85 per column inch, with a minimum of $13.70.
